How does EBO work?
EBO stands for "Enhancing Brain Organisation." The programs focus on fundamental brain functions retained from infancy that negatively affect maturation.
EBO@Home is a neurodevelopmental program that feels like play, but can create positive lifelong change.
Suitable, not only for those with neurodevelopmental diagnoses, but also children with no formal diagnoses who are struggling with aspects of life and learning.
EBO@Home is a program of highly specific energetic and sensory activities that tackle a child's challenges by addressing the underlying neurodevelopmental problems. This not only improves the child's physical coordination, balance and team related skills, but crucially also helps their ability to learn, manage behaviour, interact and establish well-being.

Why do so many children struggle with such a wide range of challenges to life and learning?
It all begins before birth.
It goes back to early brain development before birth and during the first year of life. It is crucial to a child’s future.
At this stage of development, only primitive reflexes have developed. They prepare the baby for life in-utero, the birth process and early life. They are VITAL at this stage.
This very early stage of brain development, before birth is controlled by automatic, primitive reflexes, that help the birth process and provide protection. These are typically replaced by voluntary actions during early childhood.
However, in some cases, these reflexes may persist into later childhood and beyond. This hinders natural brain maturation and leads to a wide range of developmental challenges, unique to that child, often leading to labels such as autism, ADHD and dyslexia.
But progress can be made.....
Fortunately, our brains can be shaped by experiences throughout our lives. This incredible ability to change is called neuroplasticity. It is particularly responsive during the early years, enabling new connections to reorganize brain development and enhance efficiency.
The purpose of the EBO programs is to integrate (de-activate) these primitive reflexes, allowing for natural age-appropriate brain development.
